Waiting

 Waiting…!

In the early hours of this summer morning, when the  blazing sun was barely peeking his head over the trees that surrounded the glistening lake, It lay there like a hungry tiger ready to pounce .Waiting.

It was a calm saturday morning, the children were playing, the mothers were chatting, and the air had a beautiful smell of all sorts of flowers. The sky was a beautiful light blue and there’s not a single cloud in sight. It was a perfect day for  your favourite ice cream, a day at the  beach, fishing for trout, and maybe even a lake day, or was it?

Back in the shady lake the slimy creature grinned to himself, it thought today would be a great feast…! it slid through the dark water with his slimy salamander like tail following shortly behind him.

It was almost an hour after before the first child splashed into the dim water, it was a clear she was a young girl because of her pink togs. The monster slid past, tripping her up.“AHHHHHHHHHH,” she’d scream. The monster retreated back to its cave. Loud noises was its weak point. She got out of the cool water quickly and dried off with her Barbie towel.

unfortunately for the monster the same thing happened all day. The monster grumbled, it was hungry and tired. It needed some food or...or her tiny newborns will starve. She decided to hunt for any type of fish because it was her last hope. She found three decent sized rainbow trouts one for each baby and she had the head and tail.

...So The monster wasn’t a murderer she was a carnivore she needed to feed for her young...It’s called nature!!  :)

  1. Feed back: It can teach people that shape an size doesn't sometimes mean "Danger," etc.
Feed forward: Maybe add a bit more of the five senses, and maybe more Simile's next time.
